Nestled in the idyllic Prince Edward County, Kinsip House of Fine Spirits is a distillery steeped in a rich history that dates back to the late 1800s. Originally a farm that grew barley and hops during the booming Barley Days of PEC, the distillery now specializes in producing exceptional fine spirits, speciality artisanal offerings, bitters, and whisky-infused maple syrup.
Sovereign State had the honor of collaborating closely with the family behind the purchase of the distillery, formerly known as 66 Gilead, to develop a comprehensive rebranding strategy. From brand renaming to product naming and design, every aspect was crafted to connect with the essence of Kinsip and empower its products uniquely within their respective categories, all while remaining true to the Kinsip umbrella. The result is a nose-to-tail brand system that captures the spirit and story of this family-owned business, rooted in tradition yet embracing innovation.
